ADMISSION PROCESS
At ACE, our mission is to provide state-of-the-art education and individualized treatment to children with Autism. The admission process is designed to provide in-depth information about the school’s philosophy and services to the parents. In addition, information from detailed assessments, previous records and parental interviews are collated to determine if a child can benefit from the services at ACE.

ACE offers rolling admissions throughout the year.
Financial Aid
The Special Child Trust offers need-based financial assistance to families.
01. Enquiry and Document Submission
The first step in the admission process is for parents to contact ACE either by telephone or e-mail and express interest in having their child admitted. Preliminary information about the child is collected as part of an initial screening. In addition, parents are informed about the ACE philosophy, treatment approach and educational services.Prior to moving to the next step in the process, the following documents are necessary (wherever available)
- Completed Student Admission Form. Download from above.
- Diagnostic Reports and a copy of most recent assessments (Medical, Clinical, Speech/Communication, Psychological, OT etc.)
- Immunization record
- Passport sized photograph of student and parent
These documents can be either emailed or submitted in-person to the ACE office.
02. Intake Screening
After submitting the above documents, an appointment will be made for an intake assessment with the family. ACE prefers meeting both the parents for the intake appointment. Please note, that the school requires a one week notice to schedule an intake screening meeting. Typically, intake screenings are scheduled for 45 minutes-60 minutes and take place at the school. The intake screening consists of:
- Student Evaluation – Senior staff evaluates the child based on observation and interaction on a variety of skills. This is done to determine the abilities of the child for admission to the program
- Parent Interaction – A short interaction is conducted with the parents by a member of the Admissions Team. The philosophy of the school, school policies, services provided, a quick tour of the facilities and an introduction to ACE’s use of ABA therapy is discussed in the meeting. In addition, the meeting also aims to understand the expectations and goals of parents and to get a brief case history for the child. Parents are also offered the opportunity to meet with ACE Director and staff.
03. Admission
Following the meeting with the Director, if your child’s admission is approved, you will receive an admission confirmation from ACE.
To confirm your child’s admission, the security deposit must be paid in advance. Please note that payment of the security deposit is mandatory for us to initiate the admission process and reserve your child’s place.
Once the security deposit has been received, the admission date will be scheduled. The admission date is typically available after a minimum waiting period of 2–3 months, although in some cases it may take longer depending on programme availability and capacity.
Parents will be informed of the confirmed admission date, usually one week prior to the joining date.
Upon receiving the admission date, parents are required to deposit the monthly programme fee in advance for the month in which the child joins ACE.
Thereafter, the monthly programme fee must be paid in advance by the 10th of every month. Timely payment helps ensure the smooth continuation of your child’s programme and services.
