ACE actively engages in a variety of outreach, advocacy and awareness initiatives to create acceptance in the community for autism and people with special needs. ACE is a forerunner in organizing multiple events across the city in April (Autism Awareness Month). In addition, throughout the year, professional training, open house sessions and workshops are organized by ACE as part of outreach activities.

Awareness Stall At The Heritage Annual Carnival

ACE participates in the annual Heritage School Carnival every year. Through a variety of posters, interactive games, sessions and merchandise, ACE advocates for autism awareness and sensitization among children and adults alike.

Our outreach efforts have also included flashmobs by ACE teachers and students, live music events and awareness walks to sensitize community at DLF Cyberhub (2015) and at DLF Promenade (2016).

ACE began with its virtual journey in April and here we were, months later, discussing candidly with two of our ACE parents if or not Online Learning for kids on the spectrum was a success or a challenge!

We couldn’t celebrate World Autism Awareness Day with a blast like we do every year in 2020, but we still didn’t forget to turn blue and celebrate Autism on the World Autism Awareness Day on April 2, 2020.
In May 2020, ACE conducted a webinar on how the pandemic could affect education, psychological and physical health of children with special needs with some of the experts of health sector.
Another Webinar conducted by the ACE team for parents who were now the budding therapists for their children and how they could start with the most basic step of Instructional Control.
